Product Manager (Healthcare RCM)

Responsibilities:

• Own the product roadmap and execution for healthcare RCM, medical billing, EHR/EMR integrations, and healthcare operations products.
• Define and prioritize the product backlog based on business impact, customer needs, operational data, and market trends.
• Partner closely with RCM, Billing, Operations, Engineering, Design, and client-facing teams to translate business requirements into detailed product specifications and user stories.
• Analyze complex healthcare and operational data to identify trends, gaps, pain points, and opportunities for product improvement.
• Drive process automation, workflow optimization, and technology-led improvements across the RCM product suite.
• Lead the product lifecycle from discovery and requirement gathering through design, development, testing, and launch.
• Define and track product KPIs, adoption metrics, and success criteria; use data to iterate and improve the product continuously.
• Work with engineering teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to plan sprints, manage releases, and ensure timely delivery.
• Conduct competitor analysis, market research, and customer discovery to inform product decisions.
• Support stakeholder discussions, client requirement gathering, and solution design conversations.
• Communicate the product roadmap, priorities, and updates clearly to leadership, engineering, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure products align with healthcare regulations, data security standards, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with UX/design teams to ensure intuitive, workflow-friendly product experiences for RCM and billing users.

Requirements:

• 8-10 years of overall professional experience, with significant experience in product management within healthcare/healthcare RCM or healthcare technology.
• Strong hands-on understanding of healthcare RCM and medical billing, preferably on the provider side.
• Good knowledge of the complete RCM lifecycle, including patient access, eligibility, authorization, charge capture, coding, claims submission, payment posting, AR, denial management, and collections.
• Experience building or managing products that integrate with EHR/EMR systems and healthcare technology platforms.
• Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to translate complex operational data into product requirements and roadmap decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical, operational, and business teams.
• Experience managing product roadmaps, backlogs, and cross-functional Agile teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a bias toward practical, scalable solutions.
• Experience in process automation, workflow optimization, or digital transformation initiatives within healthcare or RCM is a plus.
• Ability to independently own product areas end-to-end and take accountability for outcomes and adoption.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Product Management (CSPO, Pragmatic Institute, or equivalent) or Agile/Scrum certification.
• Experience working on RCM platform features, technology implementations, or product enhancements.
• Experience working with US healthcare providers, hospitals, physician groups, or healthcare organizations.
• Exposure to healthcare compliance and regulations such as HIPAA.
• Experience working with product and engineering collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Productboard, Figma, or equivalent.
• Prior experience as a business analyst, RCM operations lead, or healthcare consultant before transitioning into product management is a plus.
