About the Role

The Product Manager –Consumer Durable Loans role entails scaling up the Consumer Durable Loan lending business by managing existing product suite and by creating/managing new product development and initiatives in most cost efficient and technology effective manner. This role requires close collaboration with Projects , Policy , Sales , Finnone , BIU , IT , etc. A key responsibility is to ensure a seamless and customer-centric onboarding and disbursal journey, with the goal of positioning IDFC FIRST Bank as the preferred financial partner for all banking needs.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

• Drive new product initiatives
• Perform complete product scoping and delivery
• Ensure product adoption with all stakeholders
• Manage Senior leadership and stakeholder within the bank for Product and Business related updates
• Liaise with Sales for product Training
• Coordinate product requirement with internal and external stakeholders
• Define product priority and create product roadmap
• Ensure deadlines for all product delivery
• Ensure bug free project delivery and keep close track of system breakage and fixes
  
  

Secondary Responsibilities

• Business tracking of Product performance
• People Management - Manage team of PMs and APMs , along with developers and testers
• Manage product related issues with required stakeholders from bank
• Ensure product and system stability for all channels
  
  

Managerial & Leadership Responsibilities

• Ensure proper stakeholder management across both internal and external teams.
• Foster collaboration across teams to ensure smooth execution of product strategies.
  
  

What We Are Looking For

Education

• Graduate in any discipline (Full-time).
• Postgraduate qualification preferred.
  
  

Experience

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in consumer durable loans or related product management roles.
  
  

Skills and Attributes

• Strong understanding of lending products and processes
• Proficiency in managing technical product development and API understanding
• Knowledge of CRM , UI UX and Project Management tools
• Familiarity with Banking regulatory frameworks for lending business
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement product development strategies to maximize business impact
• People Management: Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external partners
• Product Analysis and Adoption: Expertise in managing Product roadmap by performing Data analysis and creating strategies for maximizing adoption/uptake
• Product Knowledge: In-depth understanding of lending products, as well as co-originated financial products
• Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to liaise effectively
• Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing business environments and customer needs
• Proactiveness: Anticipates challenges and implements preventive or corrective actions.
