Product Management - Intern

We are hiring a Product Management Intern to join our team. We are looking for candidates from IITs, BITS Pilani, or equivalent institutions. If you have built something meaningful or managed a project end-to-end, we would like to hear from you.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to design user-centric solutions that are functional, intuitive, and aligned with business goals.

The candidate will have responsibilities across the following functions:

Customer discovery:

• Run interviews with churned accounts, accounts whose usage is dropping, and AI Calling users.
• Synthesise raw calls into actionable problem statements.

PRDs and backlog:

• Write PRDs that engineering can build from, including user stories, acceptance criteria, edge cases, and out-of-scope items.
• Break PRDs into tickets, groom the backlog with engineering, and keep the sprint moving.

Release and adoption:

• Own release readiness, including UAT, release notes, and enablement for sales and support.
• Track adoption in Mixpanel after launch and report whether the feature achieved its intended metrics.

Requirements:

• Strong first-principles thinking and the ability to evaluate claims critically.
• Structured problem-solving skills to break down ambiguous problems and prioritise solutions.
• Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to create clear, actionable PRDs.
• Strong user empathy and the ability to understand user needs through direct interaction.
• Ownership, accountability, and a bias for action in resolving requirements independently.
• Data literacy, with the ability to interpret funnel and cohort charts and draw evidence-based conclusions.
• Fluency in Hindi and English, with confidence in communicating with business owners over the phone; regional language proficiency is a plus.
• Preference for candidates from IITs, BITS Pilani, or equivalent institutions, with practical experience building products or managing projects end-to-end.
