Product Lead - Mobile & Internet Banking - Banking/Financial Services

Role Overview:

The role of Lead - Mobile and Internet Banking Digital Channels is a Senior Leadership Role responsible for delivering the best product experience to our customers. This role provides solution and Project Management oversight to all projects.

1. Digital Product Strategy & Vision:

- Define and own the long-term vision and roadmap for digital channels

- Drive mobile-first and omnichannel digital banking strategy

- Align digital initiatives with business objectives and regulatory requirements

- Benchmark against peer banks, fintechs, and industry best practices

2. Product Leadership & Governance:

- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for Mobile (Android & iOS) and Internet Banking

- Establish governance for prioritization, release planning, and change management

- Review and approve PRDs, business cases, and strategic initiatives

- Ensure scalability, resilience, and performance of digital platforms

3. Digital Adoption & Channel Migration:

- Drive growth in active digital users and transaction volumes

- Increase migration of transactions from branch and assisted channels to digital

- Enable comprehensive digital self-service and servicing capabilities

- Monitor adoption trends and continuously improve channel effectiveness

4. Technology, Security & Compliance:

- Partner with Technology, Information Security, Risk, and Compliance teams

- Ensure adherence to RBI guidelines, cyber security frameworks, and data privacy norms

- Oversee VAPT, incident management, fraud controls, and risk mitigation

- Manage app store compliance, regulatory inspections, and internal audits

5. Platform Operations & Stability:

- Ensure high availability, uptime, and performance of digital channels

- Monitor incidents, outages, and customer-impacting issues

- Drive root-cause analysis and preventive controls

- Oversee release readiness and post-release stability

6. Stakeholder & Vendor Management:

- Engage with senior leadership, business heads, and internal stakeholders

- Manage strategic vendors, platform providers, and technology partners

- Drive vendor performance, SLAs, and cost efficiency

7. Team Leadership & Capability Building:

- Build and lead high-performing digital product and platform teams

- Establish best practices in Agile delivery, governance, and documentation

- Foster a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement
