Product Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• 3-5 years of experience in product management, product engineering, solution development, or technical product management.
• Must have similar experience in developing or managing products for Government, PSU, Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance customers.
• Experience with electronics, embedded systems, hardware-software products, banking peripherals, transaction devices, printing, scanning, point-of-sale, kiosks, or enterprise technology products is preferred.
• Experience with consumer electronics, IT hardware or electronic devices.
• Experience working with cross-functional engineering, sales, manufacturing, quality, supply-chain, and service teams.
• Familiarity with Government or BFSI procurement, RFPs, tenders, security requirements, certifications, and customer evaluation processes.

• Product requirement definition and documentation.
• Hardware, software, firmware, and system-integration understanding.
• Customer discovery and market analysis.
• Product costing, commercialization.
• Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to balance customer needs, technical constraints, cost, quality, and timelines.
