We are seeking a Product Development Engineer with strong backend development skills to work directly with the founder and contribute to our core software platform.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining backend applications using Python and FastAPI, building REST APIs, managing PostgreSQL databases, integrating third-party services, and developing scalable software systems.

Responsibilities include developing document processing and generation features, workflow automation, task management, and approval systems. The candidate will also work with language model APIs, information retrieval, and automated processing tools.

Additional responsibilities include implementing authentication, multi-tenant architecture, asynchronous processing, Docker-based deployment, debugging, testing, and performance optimization.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 2–5 years of software development or backend engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and FastAPI.
• Familiarity with C++ and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL, REST APIs, and backend architecture.
• Proficiency with Docker, Git, GitHub, and VS Code.
• Understanding of authentication, API security, asynchronous processing, and cloud deployment.
• Familiarity with Claude Sonnet, Astra, ChatGPT, or similar development tools.
• Understanding of LLM integration, workflow automation, and document processing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SaaS development, LangChain, LangGraph, RAG, vector databases, n8n, Redis, Celery, OCR, PDF processing, React, Next.js, and cloud platforms would be advantageous.

Previous startup experience or involvement in early-stage product development is a plus.
