Product Designer

Designation: Deputy Manager- Industrial Designer

Location: Mumbai As a Product (industrial) Designer, you will be working in the design & development team responsible for designing and developing products (Travel gear- Luggage) that are not only aesthetically appealing but also functional and ergonomic.

Job Description: Design Development:

• Generate design concepts based on design briefs or product initiations.
• Create sketches, prototypes, and 3D models of product designs, using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other tools.
• Develop and maintain design specifications, technical drawings, and documentation for product designs.

Color, Material, and Finish Selection:

• Research, analyze, and identify appropriate colors, materials, graphics and finishes in line with product design concepts, market trends
• Creating mood boards, color palettes in line with category, product and brand.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as engineers, marketers, and manufacturers, to ensure that designs meet functional, technical, and cost requirements.
• To translate design solutions from concept through final products

Preferred candidate profile 1.

Strong portfolio in product design 2. Proficient in

Adobe illustrator/Photoshop/ Solidworks/keyshot. 3. Excellent understanding of

material 4. properties with an ability to incorporate trend-driven insights into design concepts. 5. Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating visually appealing products that resonate with current market trends 6. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within a team environment, including effective coordination with the Trend Analyst. 7. Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing design requirements, market trends, and consumer demands.
