Product Designer (Garment Industry)

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end garment product design—from trend research and sketching to tech packs, fit sessions, and production handoff.
• Translate brand identity and consumer insights into compelling, scalable garment designs across categories (casual, formal, loungewear).
• Collaborate with patternmakers, merchandisers, and sourcing teams to ensure technical feasibility, cost efficiency, and ethical sourcing alignment.
• Conduct fit trials, material testing, and wear tests to optimize comfort, durability, and aesthetic appeal.
• Develop and maintain style libraries, CAD visuals, and tech packs with precise annotations for global manufacturers.
• Stay ahead of global fashion trends, fabric innovations, and sustainability benchmarks—integrating them into seasonal collections.

Skills & Qualifications Must-Have

• Experience with 3D garment simulation tools (CLO3D, Browzwear)
• Knowledge of sustainable textiles and circular design principles
• Familiarity with Indian and global garment manufacturing workflows
