Job Title -Engineer - Product Design

Job Summary:As an Engineer - Product Design, you will be part of an innovative global new product development team responsible for the end‑to‑end development of Hazardous Area Electrical Products (ATEX/IECEx/UL). You will translate creative ideas into practical engineering solutions through concept generation, modelling, prototyping, and validation, ensuring high‑quality, compliant, and manufacturable designs.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Work as part of an innovative product development team involved in complete lifecycle development of Hazardous Area Electrical Products (ATEX/IECEx/UL).
• Generate creative ideas and design concepts based on project and customer requirements.
• Convert ideas and concepts into workable models and proof‑of‑concept prototypes.
• Perform prior verification of concepts through analytical calculations, sketches, and 3D modelling.
• Validate designs through prototyping, testing, and performance analysis.
• Prepare detailed designs, engineering drawings, and Bills of Materials (BoMs).
• Use Creo for modelling and Windchill for PLM workflows and release of engineering documents.
• Communicate progress and technical details with technical leads, project managers, and team members.
• Participate in cross-functional and cross-regional project meetings for status updates and technical discussions.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Knowledge of electro mechanical product design & development knowledge

• Strong proficiency in Creo CAD software is an advantage (Or SolidWorks, AutoCAD).

• Understanding of engineering fundamentals such as mechanics, DFMEA, DFA, materials, GD&T, and tolerance analysis.

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, injection molding, sheet metal, casting (pressure die casting), etc.

• Ability to perform engineering calculations and apply analytical problem‑solving methods.

• Good communication, teamwork, and project coordination skills.position

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Master in mechanical design or equivalent

• 2 - 5 years experience in product design
