Product Design and Development Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Product design and development Doors and Closures:
• Development of BIW components and CAD Konstruktion in NX with Daimler methodology.
• Master section creation and validations,Benchmarking
• Styling validation for technical requirement.
• Concept proposal, Packaging study, Interference check.
• Understanding of Door mechanisms,Glass, Hinges and Handles
• Creation of joining elements for the assembly
• Generating ideas for cost reduction and weight reduction
• Ensure quality and timelines of every deliverables in the projects.
• Discussion with cross functional teams (CFT) for incorporating feedback eg, Simulation, Manufacturing, Vehicle integration, Corrosion protection and incorporating changes
• Change Management
