Role Summary We are seeking a highly analytical Product Associate to drive data-informed, AI-accelerated product development and strategy within the Product & Content Strategy function. In this role, you will combine market research, competitive intelligence, and generative AI workflows to optimise ISB Executive Education’s products, platforms, and programme offerings, ensuring tight alignment with institutional objectives. You will act as the connective tissue between learner needs, market signals, and ISB’s academic and commercial goals — translating insight into action at speed. The role is hands-on and research-heavy, combining rigorous analysis with fluent use of AI tools to scale the function’s research and synthesis capacity.
Key Responsibilities User and Market Research • Design and run surveys, focus groups, and interviews with prospective students, alumni, and faculty. • Apply AI-driven sentiment analysis and natural language processing (NLP) to efficiently surface thematic insights from qualitative feedback. • Apply modern data-collection methodologies, including AI-assisted A/B testing, user polling, and behavioural analysis.
Data Analysis and Strategy • Synthesise qualitative and quantitative data with the help of LLMs and AI data-analysis tools. • Translate findings into precise product requirements, strategic reports, and executive ready presentations. • Mine, model, and interpret large datasets to drive strategic, data-informed decisions.
Competitive Intelligence • Monitor the higher education and EdTech landscapes on a continuous basis. • Deploy AI tools for automated market-signal tracking and predictive trend analysis. • Conduct rigorous SWOT evaluation of competitor pricing, positioning, and business models.
Product Optimisation • Support cross-functional teams academic, marketing, and operations by providing research and analysis inputs as products move from ideation to launch. • Identify opportunities where AI could enhance product offerings, and surface these for consideration by the product team.
Performance Tracking • Continuously evaluate product performance, adoption, and data accuracy. • Use insights to recommend iterative improvements and inform roadmap decisions.
Required Experience • Proven 2-4 years of experience in Product Management, Market Research, or Business Analysis. • Demonstrated experience designing and running research studies and translating findings into actionable recommendations. • Hands-on experience working with large datasets and synthesising qualitative and quantitative inputs. • Prior experience in executive education, higher education, edtech, professional services, or research-led roles is preferred. • Working familiarity with generative AI tools for research, synthesis, and analysis.
Required Skills and Competencies • AI Fluency: Practical expertise leveraging generative AI for workflow automation, rapid prototyping, and advanced prompt engineering to scale research and analysis capabilities. • Analytical Acumen: Strong critical-thinking skills, with the ability to mine, model, and interpret large datasets — augmented by AI data-analysis tools — to drive strategic decisions. • Research Expertise: Deep understanding of modern data-collection methodologies, including AI-assisted A/B testing, user polling, and behavioural analysis. • Communication: Exceptional presentation and stakeholder-alignment skills, adept at translating complex, AI-synthesised insights into clear, actionable business strategies. • Cross-functional Collaboration: Comfortable working across academic, marketing, and operations teams to move products from ideation to launch.
Education • Postgraduate degree from a top-tier institution preferred. • Degrees in business, management, economics, analytics, or relevant analytical disciplines are welcome.
