About this role
We're looking for an analytics Manager to independently drive all analytics for our LAP product team. You'll coordinate closely with the central Analytics team on business analysis and model development, while owning the day-to-day analytics agenda for the LAP business - building the sales, offer and propensity models that help the product team make sharper, faster decisions. This role sits at the intersection of business, data science and product, and needs someone equally comfortable running the analysis and defending it in front of leadership.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Independently handle all analytics requirements for the LAP product team from scoping the business question to delivering a decision-ready answer without needing close supervision.
- Coordinate with the central Analytics team on business analysis, model methodology, prioritization and governance, so LAP-specific work stays aligned with broader organizational standards.
- Build and maintain propensity models cross-sell, top-up, balance transfer, pre-approved offers - to identify the right customer/partner for the right product at the right time.
- Develop sales analytics - funnel and conversion analysis, channel/DSA productivity, geography and vintage cuts - to help the business spot what's working and what isn't.
- Design and evaluate offer and pricing models eligibility, ticket size, ROI simulations working closely with product, sales and credit teams.
- Track portfolio health and early-warning indicators (delinquency trends, bureau-based risk signals) in coordination with the Risk/Credit analytics function.
- Translate business problems into structured analytical approaches and translate model outputs back into recommendations the business can act on.
- Build and maintain dashboards/MIS for leadership sales performance, model performance tracking, portfolio and funnel health.
- Partner with data engineering to define data requirements, ensure data quality, and build reusable feature pipelines for LAP models.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders, including LAP product and sales leadership and the central Analytics function.
- Own model governance for LAP models documentation, validation and periodic recalibration in line with central Analytics standards.
What We're Looking For
- 6–9 years of experience in analytics or data science, with meaningful exposure to NBFC/BFSI secured lending or LAP experience strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience building propensity, cross-sell and offer/pricing models end to end, from hypothesis to deployment.
- Strong SQL and Python/R skills, and a solid grip on statistical and ML techniques (logistic regression, gradient boosting, etc.).
- Experience working with sales and credit/risk data disbursement funnels, bureau data, delinquency and vintage curves.
- Proven ability to work independently and own the analytics agenda for a product team with minimal hand-holding.
- Strong stakeholder management skills comfortable working with a central analytics function on one side and business/product leadership on the other.
- Ability to present complex analysis in a simple, decision-ready format for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) and model monitoring practices (drift, PSI) is a plus.
