Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Manage end-to-end Capex procurement activities, including requirement analysis, vendor identification, quotation collection, evaluation, negotiation, and purchase order processing.
• Handle the complete Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle, from purchase requisition to invoice verification and payment coordination.
• Prepare, issue, and manage Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and Requests for Proposal (RFPs).
• Identify, evaluate, onboard, and manage vendors and suppliers based on pricing, quality, delivery timelines, and service capabilities.
• Conduct commercial negotiations with vendors to achieve competitive pricing, favourable payment terms, and cost savings.
• Review and coordinate technical specifications with technical, project, and business teams to ensure procurement requirements are clearly defined.
• Prepare and evaluate quotations, comparative statements, commercial proposals, and vendor recommendations.
• Create and manage purchase orders (POs), track order status, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with Finance, Technical, Project, and Business teams for procurement approvals, budgeting, documentation, invoice verification, and payment follow-ups.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, including quotations, RFQs/RFPs, comparative statements, purchase orders, invoices, vendor documents, and related approvals.
• Monitor procurement timelines, delivery commitments, and supplier performance to meet project requirements.
• Ensure adherence to internal procurement policies, approval processes, documentation standards, and applicable compliance requirements.
• Support government tendering, PSU procurement, and government project-related purchasing, wherever applicable.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain management.
• Strong hands-on experience in Capital Expenditure (Capex) procurement.
• Good understanding of the complete Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle.
• Practical experience in RFQ/RFP management, purchase orders, quotation evaluation, and vendor negotiations.
• Ability to understand and coordinate technical specifications and procurement requirements.
• Strong vendor management, commercial evaluation, negotiation, and cost-control skills.
• Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams, including Technical, Finance, Projects, and Business.
• Strong documentation, communication, analytical, and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement documentation or ERP systems.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in IT procurement, including IT hardware, servers, networking equipment, software licenses, infrastructure, or related technology products.
• Exposure to government tenders, PSU procurement, government projects, or public-sector purchasing processes.
• Experience with tender documentation, technical and commercial bid evaluation, and OEM/distributor coordination
