Procurement Specialist

Position: Procurement Specialist

Location: Vadodara

Shift: 2 PM to 12 AM

Responsibilities

1. Run the full purchase cycle: requisition, approval, PO, delivery, three-way match to invoice.
2. Maintain a standardized laptop catalog (23 approved configurations) and batch orders instead of buying one-off.
3. Manage vendors: approved vendor list per country, minimum 3 quotes, negotiate price, warranty, and delivery SLAs.
4. Negotiate volume agreements with OEMs and authorized resellers.
5. Document and enforce the global procurement SOP and approval matrix.
6. Manage refresh, recovery, and disposal.
7. Forecast hardware demand from HR headcount plans in coordination with IT so equipment is ready before start dates.
8. Report monthly on spend by entity, savings vs. baseline, cycle time, and on-time delivery.

Requirements

• 3–6 years in procurement or supply chain with hands-on IT hardware buying
• Proven vendor negotiation with measurable savings; multi-country exposure preferred
• Bachelor's in Commerce, Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering
• Strong Excel; ERP procure-to-pay experience
• Working knowledge of laptop specs, OEM/reseller channels, and GST/VAT
• Detail-oriented, strong documentation discipline, comfortable pushing back on vendors and internal requestors
