    What would you do
  1. This position will be responsible for selecting and contracting the suppliers in support of spot buy transactions to ensure fair value on the purchase and savings to the client.

    Procurement Operations involve the process of acquiring goods and services that a business needs to operate. This includes identifying needs, selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing purchase orders. The goal is to obtain quality products at the best possible prices while ensuring timely delivery. Effective procurement operations help control costs, maintain supply chain efficiency, and support overall business objectives. They are essential for the smooth functioning of any organization.
    Analyze and design the best practices for tactical and transactional procurement processes. Plan implementation based on detailed understanding of technologies involved and best practice process output measures. Provide the setup and ongoing maintenance of suppliers, catalog content, user authorization data and procurement applications to provide efficient and effective transactions, and to help maximize compliance.

  4. Good communication and presentation skills.
  5. Strong understanding of latest Microsoft Office applications i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Ariba
  6. Good understanding of Ariba & SAP platform
  7. Flexibility to work in any shift
  8. Flexible to relocate Job location

    Roles and Responsibilities:
  10. Meet service levels as agreed with the client on TAT & Accuracy
  11. Ensure quality of the process is upheld at all times
  12. Propose process improvement ideas and lead improvement project till closure
  13. Understanding of Operational Excellence practices and driving the behavior on the floor is required
  14. Ensure SLAs pertaining to TAT and Quality are maintained as per agreed service levels
  15. Ensure productivity of the team is achieved on a consistent basis
  16. Ensure all issues and escalations are tracked, monitored & reported as per the frequent intervals set
  17. Ensure all escalations are addressed on the same day and action taken is communicated to the parties concerned
  18. Ensure all exception folders are monitored and aged documents are managed. Overall the aging of documents should not be more than 3 business days at any given point in time
  19. Ensure to coordinate all Audits conducted and also make sure that data is provided at any given point of time
  20. Proactively escalate issues and bring it to immediate supervisor attention
  21. Ensure all reports are updated and reviewed on a day to day basis and all folders/ trackers are maintained
  22. Participate on client meetings and provide information to Manager whenever is required
  23. Ensure VM Board is updated and the metrics are used to drive the behavior on the floor
  24. Involve in preparing SLA reports and client presentations
