Procurement Officer – Job Description

We are looking for a Procurement Officer to manage the purchase of food, beverages, kitchen supplies, packaging, and other materials required for smooth restaurant operations. The role will focus on vendor coordination, cost-effective purchasing, timely delivery, and maintaining proper procurement records.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day procurement activities as per business requirements.
• Source and coordinate with vendors for required materials.
• Collect quotations and compare prices, quality, and terms.
• Negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing.
• Raise and process purchase orders as per approved requirements.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to outlets and stores.
• Coordinate with stores and operations for stock requirements.
• Check product quality, quantity, and specifications with the concerned team.
• Maintain vendor records, purchase orders, quotations, and invoices.
• Monitor market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Follow company procurement policies and approval processes.
• Resolve vendor-related issues regarding quality, pricing, and delivery.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with reliable suppliers.
• Coordinate with Finance and Stores for invoice and payment processing.
• Prepare regular procurement and vendor performance reports.
  
  

Requirements

• Good knowledge of procurement and vendor management.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and procurement documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple requirements and work within deadlines.
• F&B/Restaurant procurement experience will be preferred.
