Procurement Manager

Role & Responsibilities

• Research trending and high-demand products for e-commerce marketplaces.
• Identify manufacturers, wholesalers, and suppliers in India and China.
• Source products through platforms such as IndiaMART, Alibaba, and other B2B portals.
• Collect and compare supplier quotations, product costs, MOQ, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Contact vendors and assist with price negotiation and sample procurement.
• Prepare product comparison sheets and maintain supplier databases using Excel or Google Sheets.
• Conduct competitor research and analyse product pricing and profit margins.
• Assist in purchase planning, vendor management, order tracking, and supply chain coordination.
• Suggest new products and sourcing opportunities for our growing e-commerce business.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Freshers and students are welcome to apply.
• Candidates pursuing or holding a degree in BBA, MBA, B.Com, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field are preferred.
• Good internet research and analytical skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Good written communication and vendor coordination skills.
• Interest in e-commerce, procurement, product sourcing, and supply chain management.
• Self-motivated, organised, and capable of working independently from home.
• Prior experience with Amazon, Flipkart, IndiaMART, Alibaba, or supplier sourcing is an added advantage.
• Must have a laptop or computer and a reliable internet connection.
