Procurement Manager

Role & responsibilities

1. Project & Operations Management

• Oversee day-to-day project execution and operational activities on-site
• Coordinate between internal teams
• Ensure timelines, quality standards, and delivery milestones are met
• Identify operational bottlenecks and proactively solve them

2. Procurement & Sourcing

• Lead sourcing of components, materials, and services locally
• Work closely with the procurement team to execute purchasing plans
• Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and contracts with suppliers
• Optimize cost, quality, and reliability of supply

3. Supplier Development & Assurance

• Identify, onboard, and qualify new suppliers
• Conduct supplier evaluations, audits, and performance monitoring
• Ensure supplier compliance with quality and delivery requirements

4. Reliability Management

• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues proactively
• Maintain documentation and supplier database

5. Coordination & Reporting

• Report regularly to senior management (India + international team)
• Provide updates on procurement status, risks, and project progress
• Support strategic decision-making with on-ground insights

Note: This should be a remote job, but the candidate has to travel to Kota, Rajasthan, to meet vendors/officers, etc.
