Stores & Procurement Manager

Experience: 8-10 years in stores, procurement, supply chain, or materials management
Salary: USD 2,000 per month

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Stores & Procurement Manager to manage procurement activities, inventory, warehouse operations, and material supply for a sugar manufacturing plant. The candidate will ensure timely availability of spare parts, consumables, raw materials, and other plant requirements while maintaining optimum inventory levels and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement of spare parts, consumables, equipment, and plant materials.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate prices, contracts, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
• Manage stores, warehouse, inventory, and material receiving activities.
• Maintain optimum stock levels and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
• Coordinate with maintenance, production, and other departments for material requirements.
• Monitor purchase orders, deliveries, and supplier performance.
• Implement proper inventory control and documentation systems.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
• Prepare procurement, inventory, and cost reports for management.

Requirements:

• 810 years of relevant experience in stores, procurement, or supply chain, preferably in the sugar or manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of industrial procurement, inventory control, and warehouse management.
• Good vendor negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in ERP/inventory management systems will be an advantage.
