Procurement Lead - Polymer

Role & responsibilities

• Manage procurement of polymers, resins and plastic raw materials
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with polymer suppliers and vendors
• Handle price negotiation, cost reduction and supplier development
• Monitor market trends, polymer prices and ensure competitive sourcing
• Plan material availability based on production and inventory requirements
• Coordinate with Production, PPC, Quality, Stores and Finance teams
• Evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery and service
• Ensure timely procurement while optimizing inventory and working capital
• Support alternate material/supplier development and cost-saving initiatives
