Procurement Head

Role OverviewThe Head of Procurement will lead, design, and execute the end-to-end procurement and strategic sourcing strategy for the organization in Bengaluru. You will oversee vendor management, drive cost-optimization initiatives, ensure supply chain resilience, and manage cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Legal, and Operations teams.Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing & Planning: Develop and implement robust procurement roadmaps aligned with the companys growth and budget targets.
• Vendor & Supplier Management: Build and manage strategic partnerships with domestic and international vendors; conduct regular performance reviews, audits, and SLA tracking

• Cost Optimization & Value Engineering: Drive cost-reduction programs, total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis, and supplier consolidation without compromising quality.
• Contract Management: Lead high-stakes contract negotiations, RFPs/RFQs, and legal compliance (GST, TDS, etc.) in coordination with the legal team.
• Team Leadership: Mentor, scale, and lead a team of procurement/purchasing managers, buyers, and analysts. [1]
• ERP & Process Governance: Ensure seamless purchase order (PO) workflows, inventory control, and utilization of enterprise tools like SAP, Oracle, or Coupa/Ariba.
