Procurement (FF&E Soft Furnishing and CP Fittings)

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure FF&E items, including loose furniture, custom furniture, dcor, lighting fixtures, and accessories.
• Procure soft furnishing materials such as curtains, upholstery, carpets, rugs, blinds, mattresses, linens, wallpapers, and fabrics.
• Handle procurement of CP fittings, sanitary ware, bathroom accessories, faucets, shower systems, kitchen sinks, and plumbing fixtures.
• Develop and maintain relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors.
• Obtain quotations, conduct techno-commercial evaluations, and prepare comparative statements.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and contractual terms.
• Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely order processing.
• Coordinate with design, project, planning, QA/QC, stores, and site teams to understand procurement requirements.
• Track manufacturing, dispatch, logistics, and delivery schedules.
• Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delays, shortages, and replacements.
• Ensure purchased materials comply with approved specifications and project requirements.
• Identify alternative suppliers and value engineering opportunities to optimize project costs.
• Maintain procurement records, vendor database, purchase history, and documentation.
• Prepare procurement reports, cost-saving reports, and purchase status updates for management. Required Skills
• Strong knowledge of FF&E procurement processes.
• Experience in soft furnishing sourcing and vendor management.
• Knowledge of premium CP fittings and sanitary brands.
• Excellent negotiation and commercial evaluation skills.
• Ability to read BOQs, specifications, drawings, and material schedules.
• Strong analytical and cost estimation abilities.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Strong vendor development and relationship management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred candidate profile

Seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Manager with minimum 35 years of experience in procuring Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E), Soft Furnishing, and CP (Chrome Plated) Sanitary Fittings for hospitality, residential, commercial, or luxury interior projects. The candidate will be responsible for vendor management, sourcing, negotiations, purchase order execution, cost optimization, and timely delivery while ensuring quality standards and project timelines are met.
