About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to manage sourcing, purchasing, vendor coordination, and material procurement activities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on procurement experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments, with strong negotiation skills and an understanding of vendor management, cost control, and timely material delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, purchasing, and supplier coordination.
• Identify and evaluate suppliers based on pricing, quality, delivery timelines, and reliability.
• Obtain and compare quotations from multiple vendors to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Coordinate with internal teams to understand material requirements and ensure timely procurement.
• Follow up with vendors to ensure on-time delivery and resolve supply-related issues.
• Maintain purchase orders, quotations, invoices, and other procurement documentation.
• Monitor inventory requirements and coordinate with relevant teams to avoid material shortages.
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain activities.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, electronics, or engineering-related industries is preferred.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
• Ability to compare quotations and identify cost-effective purchasing options.
• Good coordination, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Willingness to learn about new products, materials, and supplier markets.

Important Candidate Requirement

Candidates with SAP or experience using any other procurement, ERP, or purchasing software are not eligible for this position. We are specifically looking for candidates who have practical procurement experience without SAP or other procurement software experience.

Preferred Candidates: Candidates with manufacturing or industrial procurement experience who can join immediately or within a short notice period.
