About this role
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities from Purchase Requisition (PR) to Purchase Order (PO) issuance and closure.
- Coordinate with user departments for requirement understanding, scope clarification, and timely procurement execution.
- Support sourcing activities including RFQ preparation, bid comparison, techno-commercial evaluation, and vendor coordination.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, approval matrices, and contractual requirements.
- Monitor open PRs and POs and drive timely closure, amendment, carry forward, or cancellation activities.
- Handle SAP procurement transactions related to PR, PO, GRN tracking, amendments, and closures.
- Perform SAP-based analysis for open commitments, pending PRs/POs, aging reports, and procurement MIS.
- Identify and analyze SAP-related procurement issues and coordinate with internal stakeholders for resolution.
- Maintain complete procurement documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required procurement data, reports, and justifications.
- Ensure proper documentation for PO amendments, closures, regularization notes, and approval records.
- Coordinate closely with Finance, User Departments, Projects, Stores, and Vendors for seamless procurement operations.
- Follow up with stakeholders for approvals, delivery timelines, invoice processing, and closure confirmations.
- Support resolution of procurement and payment-related issues through effective stakeholder management.
- Prepare procurement MIS, spend analysis, savings reports, and status trackers.
- Generate periodic reports for management review on procurement activities, pending actions, and operational bottlenecks.
- Assist in process improvement initiatives and procurement data analysis.
- Strong knowledge of procurement operations and commercial processes.
- Hands-on experience in SAP (preferably SAP MM/S4 HANA environment).
- Good understanding of PR/PO lifecycle management and procurement documentation.
- Experience in SAP audit support, PO closure, and PR closure activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, reporting, and data analysis.
- Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and cross-functional environment.
