DMART : Assistant Manager - Procurement

Job Location: Wagle Estate, Thane (Corporate Office)

Purpose

To check BOQ/BOM/Sourcing request documents, float the RFQ, get quotations, and negotiate with the Vendors for Indirect or Capital Items Purchase

Job Description

- Check the BOQ for correctness and coordinate with the user to fully understand the Scope of job completely.
- Float the tender to respective vendors as per approved vendor list.
- Co-ordinate with vendors for submission of quotes online / offline.
- Perform internal rate analysis / zero cost analysis.
- Negotiate with the vendors on the rates
- Compare rates of various vendors along with ASL rates and make comparative for committee approval.
- Make RM rate analysis and negotiate with RM vendors.
- Vendor Management.
- Ordering & followup the material & its readiness till installation at site.
- Maintain a good image of D-Mart while dealing with external stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

- 4 to 5 years experience in procurement for indirect/Assets or capital purchase.
- Very Good analytical Skills and commercial acumen.
- Good negotiation & interpersonal skills.
- Honest and with high integrity.
- Good presentation skills.
- Academic Qualification: A graduate in Engineering.
- Technical Skills:
- Other Skills High command over English language.

Computer Skills needed

MS Office / a Hand in SAP MM Module will be good
