Job Title: Procurement Executive

Job Overview

We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to manage our end-to-end purchasing activities. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing high-quality goods and services, evaluating suppliers, and executing strategic negotiations to secure the best commercial terms. A critical requirement for this role is hands-on expertise in SAP MM (Materials Management) to streamline our procurement workflows, manage purchase orders, and maintain accurate inventory data.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sourcing & Supplier Management

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers aligned with company quality and cost standards.
• Conduct market research to identify emerging sourcing trends, potential supply risks, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain and update a comprehensive database of approved vendors and track supplier performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery and quality.

2. Strategic Negotiation

• Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, favorable payment terms, and robust Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Review, negotiate, and manage vendor contracts and annual purchase agreements to maximize value and minimize legal or supply risks.
• Collaborate with internal technical or operations teams to understand exact specifications before initiating vendor negotiations.

3. SAP & Procurement Operations

• Execute the complete Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle efficiently within SAP.
• Generate and manage Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), Goods Receipts (GRN), and Request for Quotations (RFQ) in the SAP system.
• Analyze SAP data to track inventory levels, monitor open POs, and resolve any price or quantity variances during invoice verification.

4. Inventory & Compliance

• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and prevent stockouts or overstocking.
• Ensure all procurement activities strictly adhere to corporate governance, ethical sourcing standards, and financial audit requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 25 years of proven experience working as a Procurement Executive, Buyer, or Sourcing Specialist.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Advanced, hands-on proficiency in SAP (specifically the MM module) is mandatory. Strong skills in MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) for data analysis.
