Procurement Engineer Executive

Support end-to-end procurement of satellite bus components, materials and services while ensuring quality, cost, delivery and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage RFQs/RFPs, quotation analysis, commercial comparisons and supplier selection.
• Execute purchase requisitions and POs; obtain acknowledgements and track commitments.
• Source mechanical, electrical, electronic, avionics, composites, fasteners and raw materials for satellite programs.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Stores and Finance to close requirements.
• Track supplier lead times, deliveries and expediting actions for mission-critical and long-lead items.
• Support supplier identification, qualification, evaluation and performance monitoring.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, MOQ and other commercial conditions.
• Maintain procurement records, quotations, POs and supplier data in ERP/PLM systems.
• Support cost reduction, alternate sourcing and supplier development initiatives.
• Support international sourcing and related import/export requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

• 25 years in procurement/sourcing; aerospace, space, defence, electronics or precision engineering preferred.
• Strong source-to-pay and vendor-management knowledge.
• Ability to understand BOMs, part numbers, specifications and engineering requirements.
• Good negotiation, analytical, communication and follow-up skills.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems and MS Excel.

Education & Preferred Experience

Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or related discipline. Aerospace/space, defence, SAP/ERP and PLM experience preferred.
