Job Title: Senior Procurement Engineer Facilities Management

Location: Hyderabad

Job Summary:

The Senior Procurement Engineer is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement of Facilities Management (FM) services and related requirements, including Hard Services, Soft Services, Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs), Framework Agreements, and Rate Card Contracts. The role focuses on strategic sourcing, tender management, commercial evaluation, contract administration, supplier performance, and cost optimization to support operational requirements across the UAE while ensuring compliance with company policies and budget objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement & Tender Management:

• Manage the complete procurement lifecycle from sourcing and tendering to contract award and PO issuance.
• Prepare and issue RFQs, RFPs, and tender packages in line with procurement procedures.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to obtain approved scope of work, specifications, and budgets.
• Ensure procurement activities are completed within agreed timelines and business requirements.

Supplier Management & Strategic Sourcing

• Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with qualified suppliers and service providers.
• Maintain a competitive supplier base for key FM categories.
• Drive strategic sourcing initiatives, vendor consolidation, and supplier performance improvements.
• Monitor market trends, pricing, and supplier capabilities within the UAE FM market.

Commercial Evaluation & Negotiation:

• Conduct commercial evaluations and prepare comparison reports and award recommendations.
• Lead commercial negotiations to secure optimum pricing, contractual terms, and service levels.
• Identify cost-saving and value-engineering opportunities across procurement categories.
• Support budget management through eAective sourcing strategies and commercial controls.

Contract & Framework Agreement Management:

• Manage the establishment and renewal of AMCs, Framework Agreements, and Rate Cards.
• Review contractual and commercial terms to ensure compliance with company policies.
• Coordinate contract execution, renewals, amendments, and supplier onboarding requirements.
• Monitor contract performance and address any deviations from agreed obligations.

Stakeholder & Supplier Collaboration:

• Work closely with Facilities Management, Operations, Finance, HSSE, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with business needs.
• Foster eAective supplier relationships to ensure continuity of service and operational eAiciency.
• Support resolution of procurement-related challenges through proactive communication and collaboration.

Reporting & Compliance:

• Prepare procurement reports, tender status updates, savings reports, and management presentations.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, purchase orders, and supplier documentation.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, audit requirements, and governance standards.

Qualifications / Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
• Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent will be an advantage.

Experience:

• 5-8 years of procurement experience, preferably in Facilities Management, Real Estate, Construction, or Property Management sectors.
• Demonstrated experience in procuring Hard Services, Soft Services, AMCs, and Service Contracts.
• Strong knowledge of the UAE supplier market, commercial practices, and procurement processes.
• Experience in managing Framework Agreements, Rate Cards, and strategic sourcing initiatives is preferred.
