About this role
Assistant Manager - Procurement (FNV)
Qualification: Bachelor s degree in any relevant field.
Experience: 3-5 Years
- Develop and manage supplier networks across farmers, vendors, aggregators, and mandis.
- Manage daily demand planning, sourcing, procurement, and price negotiations.
- Ensure quality, availability, and timely supply to Modern Trade, Quick Commerce, Retail Chains, and General Trade customers.
- Monitor mandi prices, seasonal trends, crop availability, and market fluctuations.
- Oversee sorting, grading, packaging, quality checks, and dispatch.
- Drive direct farmer sourcing to optimize costs and improve supply reliability.
- Coordinate with warehouse, QC, sales, and logistics teams.
- Maintain purchase orders, GRNs, supplier documentation, and reconciliation records.
- Achieve procurement targets while optimizing gross margins and minimizing wastage and rejections.
- 3-5 years of experience in FNV procurement, preferably in Modern Trade, Quick Commerce, or General Trade.
- Strong supplier network across Delhi NCR and nearby agricultural markets.
- Excellent negotiation, sourcing, and supplier-management skills.
- Knowledge of fresh produce quality, grading, seasonality, and pricing.
- Strong commercial acumen and a target-driven approach.
