Procurement Analytics

This position is to provide dedicated support to the Buying team , with responsibility to provide necessary inputs on Market Intelligence and Analysis for sourcing Solid Fuels.

Market Analysis & Research

• Monitor global and regional market trends, price indices, supply demand dynamics, and geopolitical factors affecting supply chain and procurement
• Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to support longterm sourcing decisions
• Prepare regular market intelligence reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership
• Identify risks, opportunities, and costsaving levers within the category
• Track competitor behavior, regulatory changes, and industry developments
• Market research & intelligence
• Daily report of key developments on macro-economic / industry / category-related areas
• New market/opportunity development monitor potential new sources for business development
• Supplier watch: maintain updated database of supplier activity mines, production, strategic plans, risks.
• Competition watch

• Data Management & Reporting

• Develop forecasting models using historical data and market indicators
• Support monthly/quarterly business reviews with structured analytics and insights
• Create automated tools, templates, and dashboards to improve decision-making and visibility

• Buying & Operational Support

• Assist buyers in the endtoend purchasing process: RFQs, supplier evaluations, negotiations preparation, and contract administration
• Coordinate with suppliers to collect quotations, technical documentation, and delivery schedules
• Support contract drafting, amendments, and compliance checks

• CrossFunctional Coordination

• Work with support teams (contract management, trading, shipping, lay-times, claims)
• Partner with master planning teams to align requirements and resolve issues
