Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage non-critical and low value spot buy (tail spend)
- Handle ad-hoc and non-catalogue purchase requests across categories.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for one-time or low-value purchases.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and sourcing strategies.
- Draft, issue, and manage end-to-end RFP/RFQ processes.
- Collect, analyze, and evaluate supplier quotes based on pricing, lead times, and compliance.
- Coordinate with stakeholders for technical and commercial evaluation of proposals.
- Maintain effective communication with suppliers for quote follow-ups, clarifications, and delivery commitments.
- Conduct commercial negotiations to ensure the best value in terms of cost, quality, and timelines.
- Develop and maintain a qualified supplier base for recurring and critical requirements.
- Prepare comparative statements and cost analysis reports.
- Recommend vendors based on TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) analysis.
- Support strategic sourcing decisions with market data and pricing trends.
- Convert approved Purchase Requisitions (PR) into Purchase Orders (PO) in procurement systems (e.g., Oracle, Coupa, Navision)
- Ensure timely PO release and follow-up for order acknowledgments and delivery schedules.
