    About this role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Process Engineer with 46 years of hands-on experience in Automotive Electronics Manufacturing.

The selected candidate will be responsible for end-to-end process development, process optimization, yield improvement, and continuous improvement for advanced automotive electronic products, with a primary focus on Camera Modules and Infotainment Systems.

The role involves developing and optimizing manufacturing processes, preparing and maintaining key quality documents such as PFMEA and Control Plans, driving Kaizen and Lean initiatives, and ensuring zero-defect production in compliance with IATF 16949 requirements.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Process Engineering & Assembly

    • Lead the setup, validation, and optimization of manufacturing processes for automotive electronic products.
    • Define and optimize process flows, line layouts, cycle times, line balancing, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
    • Drive improvements in throughput, productivity, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
    • Support and lead New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.
    • Manage process transfer from Design/R&D to High-Volume Manufacturing (HVM).
    • Identify and eliminate process bottlenecks to improve production efficiency and stability.

    2. Quality & APQP Core Tools

    • Lead and facilitate cross-functional PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) activities.
    • Develop, implement, and periodically review Control Plans for critical-to-quality (CTQ) parameters.
    • Ensure manufacturing processes comply with applicable quality standards and IATF 16949 requirements.
    • Participate in 8D problem-solving and root cause analysis for process-related non-conformities, customer complaints, returns, and yield losses.
    • Drive effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

    3. Continuous Improvement & Kaizen

    • Drive Kaizen and Continuous Improvement initiatives across the production floor.
    • Identify opportunities to reduce waste, scrap, cycle time, and process variation.
    • Conduct Time & Motion Studies and implement Lean Manufacturing and 5S practices.
    • Analyze process yield, scrap data, defect trends, and production KPIs to identify improvement opportunities.
    • Implement sustainable corrective actions to improve process capability, productivity, and quality.

    4. Equipment, Tooling & Automation Validation

    • Support the selection, installation, qualification, and validation of new machinery, fixtures, tooling, and automated equipment.
    • Execute equipment/process validation activities in accordance with IQ/OQ/PQ protocols.
    • Conduct MSA and Gauge R&R studies for critical measurement and testing systems.
    • Perform process capability studies (Cpk/Ppk) for critical processes and equipment.
    • Work closely with Equipment, Maintenance, Quality, and Production teams to ensure process readiness.
