Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Process Engineer with a strong background in chemical processes, preferably from Argo Chemicals, Fine Chemicals, or Pharmaceutical API manufacturing units. The ideal candidate should have experience in process optimization, troubleshooting, process development, and production efficiency improvement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Process Optimization & Improvement
- Analyze and optimize chemical processes to improve production efficiency, product quality, and reduce waste.
- Develop and implement process modifications to improve yield and overall process performance.
- Conduct process simulations and modeling to support process improvements.
2. Troubleshooting & Technical Support
- Resolve operational issues related to equipment malfunctions, process inefficiencies, and quality concerns.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
3. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and operational procedures.
- Perform process safety risk assessments.
- Ensure proper chemical handling, storage, and waste disposal practices.
4. Process Design & Development
- Assist in designing and scaling up new processes and modifying existing processes.
- Collaborate with R&D and Operations teams to ensure process feasibility and regulatory compliance.
- Support pilot testing and process scale-up activities.
5. Quality Control & Production Monitoring
- Work with the Quality Control team to ensure products meet technical specifications and regulatory standards.
- Monitor production processes, review batch records, and maintain consistent product quality.
6. Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze production data, raw material consumption, and energy usage.
- Prepare technical reports and recommend process improvements.
- Assist in preparing process flow diagrams, mass balances, and equipment specifications.
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with engineering, production, R&D, and management teams to improve productivity.
- Contribute to new product development, process innovation, and sustainability initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- B.Tech/M.Tech in Chemical Engineering.
- 8–10 years of experience in Argo Chemicals, Fine Chemicals, or Pharmaceutical API manufacturing units.
- Preferably 2–3 years of experience specifically as a Process Engineer.
- Good knowledge of process optimization, troubleshooting, and production improvement.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and communication tools.
- Good communication skills in English, Hindi, and Telugu.
- Willingness to work in Hyderabad.
