Description
The Process Control Applications Developer - Associate is responsible for development of event detection application.
Focus of Role: Learning, enhancement of existing application

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SCADA applications using the Ignition platform (Perspective/Vision, Gateway scripting)
• Provide Tier 2/above site support for application troubleshooting and ad hoc customizations
• Requirement gathering, development, testing, deployment documentation and communication for new versions and patch releases
• Sustainment and development of reporting/BI tools/dashboards to aid fleet management
• Work with IT/OT teams on infrastructure, networking, access control and cybersecurity requirements
• Support knowledge transfer and training for Tier 1 support and users

Required skills

• Preference : Exposure to tools developed on Ignition
• Strong experience in Ignition SCADA (Inductive Automation)
• Proficiency in scripting and programming (SQL, Python, Java)
• Experience in databases (MSSQL) and cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS)
• Understanding of industrial control systems and communications for both IT and OT domains (OPC, MQTT, APIs etc)
• Knowledge of site work processes is a plus
