Private Equity Fund Accounting - Associate

Role & responsibilities:

• Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements for private equity funds.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial reports in compliance with GAAP and IFRS standards.
• Assist in the preparation of investor reports and presentations.
• Maintain the general ledger and perform reconciliations for fund accounts.
• Record and review journal entries related to capital calls, distributions, investments, and expenses.
• Calculate management fees, carried interest, and other allocations.
• Support team members in fund accounting processes and ad-hoc reporting as needed.
• Collaborate with supervisors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate deliverables

Qualifications:

• Knowledge in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
• Knowledge in fund accounting, preferably in private equity or a related financial services field.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and private equity fund structures.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
