Role & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive QA strategy for trading and analytics platforms
• Lead a team of QA engineers, providing technical mentorship and career development
• Design test automation frameworks for focusing on performance, reliability, and accuracy
• Collaborate with trading desk, users, and development teams to understand business requirements
• Develop performance test packs for latency analysis and capacity planning
• Drive continuous improvement in testing methodologies and tools
• Participate in UAT processes with users and key stakeholders for front to back initiatives
• Proactive analysis of incidents to implement preventive measures

Required Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 10-12 years of software QA experience, strictly in financial services
• Expert knowledge of automated testing frameworks and continuous integration/deployment
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java
• Hands-on with GitLab, Jenkins/Gitlab CI
• Hands-on experience in AI/ML/GenAI backed test practices
• Experience testing APIs and data pipelines
• Good understanding of global financial markets, trading systems
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (MiFID II, Reg NMS, etc.) is an added advantage
