About the Role

Avaya is looking for an experienced product leader to help advance the platform and developer capabilities. behind Avaya Infinity. We are looking for someone who thinks in platforms and understands how APIs, integrations and. developer experiences can make enterprise software easier to extend, integrate and build on.

This role will work closely with Product, Engineering, Architecture, customers and partners to understand where we can simplify the way developers and enterprises interact with our platform and turn those opportunities into an executable product roadmap.

This is a hands-on product leadership role. We are looking for someone who can move comfortably between customer problems, technical architecture, developer needs and business outcomes.

What You'll Do

. Help shape product strategy and roadmap for platform, API and developer capabilities.
. Work with customers, partners, developers and internal teams to understand integration and extensibility needs.
. Assess existing capabilities and identify opportunities to improve the overall developer and integration experience.
. Define product requirements for APIs, events, integrations, developer tooling and related platform capabilities.
. Partner closely with Engineering and Architecture on technical tradeoffs, sequencing and execution.
. Translate complex enterprise requirements into reusable platform capabilities rather than one-off solutions.
. Champion developers and partners as important users of the platform.
. Work across Avaya product teams to create more consistent integration patterns and experiences.
. Help define meaningful measures for adoption, developer success, platform usage and customer value.
. Participate directly in customer and partner discovery and use those insights to influence priorities.

What We're Looking For

. Strong product management experience with enterprise software platforms, APIs, developer products, cloud services or related technologies.
. Good understanding of modern APIs, authentication and authorization, events, integrations and cloud architecture.
. Experience working closely with engineering and architecture teams on technically complex products.
. Experience building products or capabilities used by developers, partners, system integrators or enterprise technology teams.
. Ability to understand technical architecture and make product tradeoffs without needing to be the engineer implementing the solution.
. Strong customer discovery and product judgment.
. Ability to take an ambiguous problem, develop a point of view and turn it into an executable roadmap.

. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Experience That Would Be Particularly Valuable

Experience with enterprise communications, CCaaS, CPaaS, developer platforms, AI platforms, enterpriseintegration, event-driven architectures or large-scale SaaS platforms would be valuable.

Experience helping evolve an established enterprise product toward a more open and extensible platform would also be relevant.

The pay range for this opportunity is up to $234,100 in total compensation, inclusive of base salary and bonus. Actual total compensation will vary based on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and relevant experience.
