Job Responsibilities of the Principal Officer (PO)

The Principal Officer acts at a senior management level, exercising executive oversight over the KRAs core operational infrastructure, data security, and systemic risk.

• Core KRA Data Management: Oversee the electronic ingestion, secure storage, and strict verification of KYC records received from various regulated intermediaries. Ensure records are digitally preserved for a minimum of 5 years.
• System Interoperability & Integration: Maintain smooth digital integration and secure data-sharing capabilities with internal and external KRAs, as well as global and domestic financial regulators.
• AML/CFT Framework Leadership: Serve as the chief decision-maker for Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) protocols.
• Build systemic controls to monitor transaction red flags or suspicious data trends.
• Technological Infrastructure & Cybersecurity: Ensure that the KRA maintains robust business continuity plans (BCP), data backups, and cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive global investor data from breaches.
• Primary Regulatory Liaison: Act as the main corporate interface with the IFSCA and other statutory authorities (such as FIU-IND) for structural filings, reporting management changes, or responding to systemic inquiries.
• Regulatory Requirement: Must possess a professional/post-graduate qualification in finance, law, or business, along with at least 10 years of experience in the financial services market.
