About Position:

We are seeking an experienced Principal Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) with deep expertise in Transaction Banking and Corporate Banking domains. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of software engineering excellence, customer-facing consulting capabilities, and domain knowledge in banking operations. This role involves working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to design, develop, and deploy innovative solutions that solve complex business challenges, accelerate digital transformation, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

What You'll Do:

• Partner with clients and business stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Design, develop, and deploy proof-of-concepts, prototypes, and production-ready applications.
• Build scalable solutions for Transaction Banking and Corporate Banking use cases.
• Develop backend and integration services using Python, Java, and/or TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Design and implement REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise integration frameworks.
• Analyze large datasets and leverage SQL, data engineering, and analytical techniques to generate insights and business value.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, and engineering teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements to architecture, performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Support solution deployment, user adoption, and post-production stabilization activities.
• Participate in client workshops, technical discussions, solution demonstrations, and architecture reviews.
• Troubleshoot complex business and technical challenges across banking platforms and integrations.
• Drive innovation by identifying opportunities for automation, optimization, and digital transformation.
• Mentor engineering teams and contribute to technical best practices and delivery excellence.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 12 to 15 years of experience in Software Engineering, Solution Engineering, Technical Consulting, or Forward Deployed Engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on software development experience delivering enterprise-grade applications.
• Proven experience in Transaction Banking and Corporate Banking domains.
• Strong understanding of banking processes including payments, cash management, liquidity management, treasury operations, trade finance, and corporate banking services.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, and/or TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs, microservices, and service-oriented architectures.
• Strong SQL, data engineering, and data analysis capabilities.
• Experience building Proof of Concepts (PoCs), prototypes, MVPs, and production-grade solutions.
• Experience integrating enterprise platforms, banking systems, and third-party applications.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalable application architectures, and cloud-native development.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
• Ability to influence business and technical decision-making across multiple teams.
• Experience working within Agile and enterprise delivery environments.r Hybrid project delivery environments.
