Principal Engineer

Key Responsibilities: ● Define and execute technical specifi cations in alignment with architectural direction. Work on business capabilities and technical initiatives for the organization needs, while continuing to tap into key AI opportunity areas. ● Deliver documentation and software to the highest standards possible. ● Contributions towards software development that enhances the overall code quality, testing, and performance of our systems, making it a high quality deliverable. ● Stay at the forefront of the technology landscape to identify novel approaches and technologies that can be applied to anticipate and solve the next generation of operational challenges supply chain fi nancing. ● Manage the end-to-end software project lifecycle with a sense of ownership for key initiatives assigned to you and deliver using short iteration cycles and produce artifacts that clearly demonstrate good software traits. ● Manage developer and QA relationships and keep everyone informed around release schedules and code know-how. ● Work with Engineering Managers and other members of the team to deliver secure, robust, and RBI compliant solutions.

Required Skills: ● Extensive experience as a SSE or Senior Engineer in a product-driven domain, preferably with direct exposure to lending or BFSI systems. ● Experience in Java language and frameworks like SpringBoot and Quarkus, along with strong SQL skills is a must-have. ● Working knowledge of Linux basics and AWS based development is desirable. ● Robust understanding of engineering practices, design patterns, and architectural know-how (microservices, modular monoliths, event-driven programming) and could native technologies. ● Demonstrated ability to build software that goes beyond CRUD, but touches upon performance, security, and scalability needs. ● Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to think outside the box ● Excellent teamwork skills with an ability to get the work done with minimal supervision ● Advanced degree in Computer Science or related fi eld is highly desirable ● Proven track record of managing all aspects of a SDLC (documenting technical note, building software, testing, deployment, and monitoring).

Qualifications: ● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience. ● Minimum 3 years of experience as SSE/Senior Dev role ● Certifications or equivalent expertise in AWS / Java / Architecture specialization is desirable. ● Lending domain experience with understanding of loan origination and servicing will be required.
