Principal Engineer

We are looking for a hands-on Tech Lead / Principal Engineer to drive high-impact technical projects while staying deep in the code. This is an IC role for someone who wants to lead through technical excellence, architecting systems, solving hard engineering problems, and mentoring the team, without moving into people management.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end architecture and technical design for critical projects.
• Write production-grade code and set the technical bar for the team.
• Guide and mentor engineers on best practices, design patterns, and system design.
• Drive adoption of AI-first engineering practices across the org.
• Build and integrate LLM-powered systems using LangChain and LangGraph.
• Own technical decision-making and be the escalation point for complex problems.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and other engineering teams.
• Present technical roadmaps and architecture decisions to leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• 7-12 years of strong hands-on experience in Node.js, Java, or NET.
• Proven experience building with AI/LLM tooling, LangChain and LangGraph.
• Strong system design and architecture skills at scale.
• Experience leading technical projects/teams as an IC (not just a manager).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills non-negotiable.
• Background in high-scale product companies (FinTech, Expedia, Amazon, or similar).

Good to Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Exposure to microservices, distributed systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Prior experience in a Tech Lead / Staff / Principal Engineer capacity.
