Job Description
We are looking for a visionary and experienced Principal to lead our CBSE school in Nagarbhavi, Bangalore. You will be responsible for academic excellence, school culture, regulatory compliance, and the overall growth of the institution, and will work closely with the management.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and set the academic and operational vision of the school
• Oversee curriculum implementation, assessments, and results as per CBSE guidelines and NEP 2020
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate teaching and non-teaching staff; plan regular training and development
• Ensure compliance with CBSE affiliation norms, Karnataka state regulations, and statutory requirements
• Uphold child safety and protection standards, including POCSO and POSH compliance
• Maintain a positive school culture with strong discipline, student well-being, and inclusion
• Build strong relationships with parents and the community; handle escalations and grievances
• Drive admissions, retention, and the schools reputation in the local community
• Manage school budgets, infrastructure, and resources in coordination with management
• Plan and oversee co-curricular activities, events, and annual functions
• Report regularly to management on academic performance, finances, and operations

Desired Candidate Profile

• Postgraduate degree in any discipline from a recognised university, along with B.Ed. (mandatory)
• 12+ years of teaching experience in a CBSE school, including 6+ years in a Vice Principal, Principal, or senior leadership role
• Strong knowledge of CBSE curriculum, affiliation bye-laws, and NEP 2020
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English; Kannada or Hindi is an advantage
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage change, and deliver academic results
• Proficiency in MS Office and school ERP/management software
• Candidates based in Bangalore or willing to relocate are preferred
