Principal Architect - ManCo

Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering scalable, high-performance enterprise applications across the full technology stack.
• You will architect and implement robust data strategies that include data pipelines, data infrastructure, business data modelling, computation frameworks, and storage design.
• You will be involved in driving database performance through optimised queries and efficient application design.
• Additionally, you will develop both high-level and low-level designs, ensuring scalability, availability, and maintainability.
• You will also work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and tech leadership to define and implement the right platform design and ensure accountability in delivery.
• As a technical contributor, you will champion innovation by encouraging experimentation, continuous improvement, and the adoption of new technologies and processes to enhance platform capabilities and delivery outcomes.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Programming expertise in Python (preferred), Java, or C++, with the technical depth to lead meaningful architecture and code reviews.
• Expertise in standard algorithms, data structures, and performance-oriented application design.
• Experience building and delivering fullstack products, integrating frontend, backend, and data layers.
• Experience building data platforms end-to-end, including data ingestion pipelines, data infrastructure, and storage design.
• Exceptional data engineering expertise across data modelling, including dimensional and multidimensional modelling, data pipeline development, computation engines, and computation frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders effectively, bridge communication gaps, and build trust across teams.
• Proven project management capabilities, with a big-picture perspective and the ability to break down complex initiatives into actionable plans.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and technical problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate alternative approaches and optimise solutions.
• The ability to balance deep technical expertise with strategic vision to deliver solutions aligned with evolving business needs.
• Exceptional passion for building impactful technology solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Exposure to financial data modelling.
