Primavera - PPM Trainer

Position Summary

The Oracle Primavera Trainer is responsible for delivering high-impact, practical, and hands-on training on Oracle Primavera P6 (Enterprise Project Portfolio Management) to civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering students, graduates, and working professionals. The role entails guiding learners through end-to-end project scheduling, resource allocation, earned value management, and real-world project simulations in alignment with CADD Centre / Synergy standard courseware.

Key Responsibilities

Training Delivery & Instruction

• Deliver structured classroom and lab-based training sessions on Oracle Primavera P6 fundamentals, intermediate workflows, and advanced project management modules.
• Instruct students on core PPM concepts: Enterprise Project Structure (EPS), Organizational Breakdown Structure (OBS), Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Activity Sequencing, Critical Path Method (CPM), and PDM relationships.
• Guide learners through resource definition, cost loading, leveling, project baseline creation, tracking, progress updates, and Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Conduct case-study-driven sessions covering multi-project scheduling, risk tracking, and generating industry-standard reports and S-curves.

Curriculum Support & Student Mentorship

• Supervise practical lab exercises, project submissions, and portfolio building for engineering and management students.
• Evaluate student progress through milestone assessments, mock project reviews, and certification readiness tests.
• Address student queries and provide mentoring to prepare candidates for site planning, project coordination, and scheduling roles.

Centre & Pre-Sales Technical Support

• Conduct technical demo sessions and skill workshops for prospective walk-in candidates and college seminar attendees.
• Collaborate with the Business/Counselling team to explain the career scope of Primavera across infrastructure, construction, oil & gas, and manufacturing sectors.
• Ensure lab systems, software installations, and project databases are properly configured and operational.
