Primary Mathematics Teacher

Role & responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons for primary-grade students.
• Teach fundamental concepts such as numbers, arithmetic, shapes, measurements, and problem-solving.
• Use interactive teaching methods, activities, worksheets, and teaching aids to simplify mathematical concepts.
• Assess students progress through tests, assignments, and classroom activities.
• Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
• Provide individual attention and additional support to students who need it.
• Maintain academic records and communicate students progress to parents and management.
• Collaborate with colleagues to implement effective teaching strategies and curriculum plans.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a relevant subject.
• B.Ed. qualification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in primary grades.
• Strong command of Mathematics concepts and effective communication skills.
• Ability to engage young learners through activity-based and student-centric teaching methods.
• Good classroom management and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with CBSE curriculum and assessment methods is preferred.
