Primary Main Teacher

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the prescribed curriculum and school guidelines.
• Teach primary-level subjects and ensure effective curriculum implementation.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, teaching aids, and classroom activities.
• Use interactive and child-centred teaching methodologies to enhance student participation.
• Assess students' learning progress through classwork, homework, tests, projects, and observations.
• Identify students who require additional academic support and provide remedial teaching.
• Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
• Monitor students' academic progress, behaviour, attendance, and overall development.
• Maintain accurate academic records, assessment reports, and student portfolios.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' progress and areas for improvement.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
• Collaborate with colleagues and academic coordinators to achieve learning objectives.
• Integrate technology, creative activities, and real-life examples into classroom teaching.
• Ensure student safety and follow all school policies and child protection guidelines.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any relevant discipline.
• B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. preferred, as applicable to the role and school requirements.
• Strong command of English and effective classroom communication skills.
