Pricing Consultant

We are looking for a Pricing Consultant with strong experience in pricing strategy, revenue optimisation, business research, data analytics, and complex data analysis. The role involves working closely with senior stakeholders and client teams to solve complex pricing challenges and develop data-driven pricing strategies and recommendations.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior stakeholders and client teams to develop and implement pricing strategies and solutions.
• Analyse client systems, databases, and data structures to generate evidence-based insights.
• Perform data cleansing, aggregation, modelling, and complex analytical exercises.
• Manage engagement workstreams, deliverables, timelines, and high-quality outputs.
• Use tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, Python, and SQL to analyse large datasets and drive business insights.
• Develop client presentations, documentation, and insight-driven PowerPoint decks.
• Conduct primary and secondary research to support strategic recommendations.
• Support proposal development and sales strategies for potential clients.
• Assist in implementing pricing solutions and tools within client environments and provide necessary training.
• Contribute to thought leadership, knowledge management, and practice development.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in pricing strategy and revenue optimisation.
• Strong experience in business research and data analytics.
• Good understanding of databases, data manipulation, cleansing, aggregation, and summarisation.
• Experience in complex modelling and analysis using Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, Python, SQL, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of pricing methodologies, including: Value-based Pricing, Cost-based Pricing, Competitive Pricing, Dynamic Pricing, Pricing Optimisation.
• Ability to identify complex pricing problems and develop effective, innovative pricing solutions.
• Strong numerical, analytical, strategic, and commercial acumen.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Hands-on Python programming experience using Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, and IDEs such as Jupyter or Spyder.
• Experience developing machine learning models for pricing applications.
• Knowledge of price elasticity modelling, forecasting, customer segmentation, linear regression, logistic regression, and random forest.
• Experience working in strategy consulting, analytics consulting, or corporate strategy/analytics roles.
• MBA / B. Tech / B. E. from a reputed Indian or international educational institution.
