Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tool & Die Maintenance Team Member to join our press shop team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of tool and die machinery used in the production process. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that all tooling and dies are in optimal working condition to maintain production efficiency and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on dies and tooling.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with dies and tooling equipment.
• Collaborate with production teams to understand tooling needs and address any problems promptly.
• Assist in the installation and setup of new tooling and dies.
• Document maintenance activities and maintain records of repairs and inspections.
• Utilize measuring tools and equipment to ensure precision and quality standards.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  
  

Skills And Qualifications

Years of Experience: 5 to 10

• Diploma in Tool & Die course from NTTF Insitution or related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in tool and die maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and other departments.
  
  

Tools And Equipment Required

• Hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, etc.)
• Precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Grinding machines
• Bench tools and equipment for assembly and disassembly of dies
