Press Shop Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Design and develop press shop layouts, including fixture design, tooling selection, and equipment placement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes, reduce costs, and improve quality.
• Conduct feasibility studies for new product launches, analyzing manufacturing requirements and identifying potential challenges.
• Develop detailed designs for sheet metal components using CAD software.

Job Requirements :

• 3-6 years of experience in a press shop environment or related field (automobile industry).
• Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication techniques and materials science.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks) for designing complex parts.
• Experience working with industrial equipment/machinery operations.
