Presales Engineer

The Pre-Sales Consultant will provide internal technical and organizational support to the Sales and Marketing teams. This role helps prepare solution documentation, organizes technical content, supports RFI/RFP responses, and ensures that sales teams have the accurate technical information and materials they need.

The role is not customer-facing; instead, it focuses on internal coordination, research, and technical preparation to help the pre-sales and sales engineering teams work more efficiently.

Shift Timings :- PST Shift - 9:00 pm to 6:00 am

Location :- Permanent Remote

• Excellent presentation, storytelling, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to simplify complex ideas for non-technical stakeholders.
• Understanding of the sales cycle, opportunity qualification, and value selling.
• Ability to analyze customer data, identify gaps, and propose optimized solutions.
• Strong documentation and technical writing skills (RFI/RFP responses, SOWs, proposals).

Responsibilities:

• Map client requirements to specific IT products, platforms, and services
• Create tailored solution architectures and proposals aligned with business outcomes.
• Provide technical responses for RFIs, RFPs, proposals, and security questionnaires.
• Ensure technical accuracy in all customer-facing content.
• Partner with sales reps to strategize account approaches and influence deal progression
• Support pricing and solution packaging discussions as needed.
• Liaise between Sales and Marketing to ensure market messaging reflects actual customer needs and technical realities.
• Inform Akraya sales of emerging customer trends, use cases, and competitor insights.
• Help craft case studies, solution briefs, whitepapers, and webinar content.
• Work closely with product, engineering, and delivery teams to maintain up-to-date solution knowledge.
